For over 100 years, Tretorn has built a reputation for superior quality and function, innovation, and design. A crucial and distinctive part of our heritage is the variety of tennis products that we have produced. Tretorn's long history of rubber boot production naturally evolved into tennis ball production in 1902 and, later, a complete line of rubber soled sport shoes in 1934.
We continue to set the standard with tennis balls that offer playability and durability for players of all levels. Today, Tretorn celebrates heritage in tennis, priding ourselves in offering the highest quality ball possible for every player's game.
Tretorn changed the history of tennis when it introduced the first Pressureless ball in 1955. In 1998, Tretorn again made tennis history with the introduction of the Micro X – the first tennis ball featuring micro-cell technology. This heritage in technological innovation continues. The SERIE+ is the latest premium ball for professional players and is the official ball of the ATP Challenger Series.
As with all of Tretorn's pressurized performance balls, the SERIE+ offers competitive players optimal performance with cutting-edge technological advances, ensuring exceptional feel and control as well as extended pressure retention.

For leisure players, Tretorn understands that players need a quality ball that’s consistent and durable for occassional play. With our history in pressureless balls, Tretorn has long been dealing with traditional problems such as leaking pressure, loss of bounce, and inconsistent playability. As a result, Tretorn’s Pressureless balls have the bounce built right into their rubber core - a carefully engineered blend of selected raw materials, various rubbers and chemical ingredients. Unlike pressurized balls, which have a relatively short lifespan, Tretorn‘s Pressureless balls come with a lifetime bounce guarantee.
The Plus is covered in an exclusive high tech felt that is thicker and softer than any other Pressureless ball.

We also know how important and fun it can be to introduce the game of tennis to kids and other beginners. It is just as important, however, to use the right ball for a beginner's first experience on the court. To make sure it's positive and fun, Tretorn offers trainer balls that are ITF approved for all three stages of play.
But the ball wasn't the only aspect of tennis that earned Tretorn a admirable reputation. Breaking into top flight international play in the 1950s, the association of Swedish tennis with Tretorn has been influential and long lasting. Bjorn Borg, the winner of the Wimbledon championship 5 years in a row (1976-1980) set new standards for the tennis world in his characteristic Tretorn Nylites. This was the world's first leather performance shoe, simple and timeless in style, soon regarded as the "Ultimate Tennis Shoe." Not only did Bjorn Borg take pride in his Nylites, Tretorn shoes have been worn by many tennis legends – Martina Navratilova, Billie Jean King, Chris Evert, Tracy Austin among them.

Today, Tretorn celebrates the heritage of the classic Nylite and its characteristic Gullwing logo. You may have noticed that Tretorn offers this classic shoe, with the original distinct “v” toe shape and lightweight rubber outsole feature the same timeless, deconstructed design.
In our long history with the sport of tennis, Tretorn has developed a passion for tennis. By attempting to improve classics, we hope our products will help improve every player's individual ability. But above all, we hope you enjoy the game.
